Strong winds will blow in Delhi from today, weather will change due to rain in many states, IMD issued this alert

With the end of winter in Delhi, the weather is returning to normal. But the weather of the capital is going to change for two days from today. Actually, the Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that on February 19-20, strong winds can blow in Delhi. Although, it will be sunny during the day, but the speed of wind will definitely be faster than the rest of the day. Whereas the weather is likely to change due to rain in many parts of the country including Andaman, Arunachal.
According to the Meteorological Department, today’s minimum temperature in Delhi is going to be 10 degree Celsius and maximum temperature is going to be 26 degree Celsius. The wind speed may remain strong during the day. The Meteorological Department has said that these winds can move in the capital and its adjoining areas at a speed of 25 to 35 km. Apart from this, a slight drop in the minimum temperature can be recorded in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Today’s minimum temperature will be 13 degree Celsius, while the maximum temperature will be 27 degree Celsius. In Dehradun, Uttarakhand, the mercury can drop to 8 degree Celsius today. At the same time, the maximum temperature will be 24 degree Celsius. During the day, there will be light sunshine in the sky.
Minimum temperatures continue to rise in various states of North India. In Uttar Pradesh too, there has been relief from the severe cold. According to the Meteorological Department, today’s minimum temperature in Lucknow is going to be 11 degree Celsius and maximum temperature is going to be 27 degree Celsius. Patna, the capital of Bihar, will also have a minimum temperature of 11 and a maximum temperature of 27 degrees Celsius. Here too the sky will be clear and the sun will be shining. Apart from this, in Jammu, the minimum temperature is likely to be 9 degree Celsius, while the maximum temperature will go up to 23 degree Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Department, the mercury will fall by five degrees Celsius here today, while the maximum temperature will go up to 15 degrees Celsius. Talking about Jaipur in Rajasthan, the minimum temperature here will drop to 15 degree Celsius, while the maximum temperature will be 28 degree Celsius. At the same time, the minimum temperature of Srinagar will be zero degrees, while the maximum is likely to be 15 degrees Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain over the Andaman and Nicobar Islands during the next two days. Scattered rains are very likely over Arunachal Pradesh during 19th to 22nd and over Assam, Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on 20th and 21st February. Apart from this, there will be light rain over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal-Sikkim during the next 5 days. At the same time, due to the Western Disturbance, there is a possibility of light rain / snowfall in the Western Himalayan region during the next 24 hours. Today there is a possibility of light rain at isolated places in Punjab, West Rajasthan, Haryana and Chandigarh. According to IMD, strong surface winds (25-35 kmph) are very likely to prevail over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh on February 19 and 20. Apart from this, there will be no major change in the minimum temperature over most parts of the country during the next 5 days.
