Uttar Pradesh: Farmers leave stray animals near Yogi Adityanath’s rally site

In Uttar Pradesh’s Barabanki district, farmers on Tuesday left hundreds of cattle in an open field near the venue of the rally being organized by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He did this to show that there was a crisis of stray cattle (cattle) in his area.

Before Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s program in Barabanki, farmers drove hundreds of bulls from the fields and left them in the rally venue, the farmers did not get treatment for these free animals and for 5 years the UP government also did not get any treatment. Now (we) had to see what treatment the BJP people come up with before the programme!’

At the same time, Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday evening shared a video clip of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Twitter, in which Modi is seen assuring to solve the problem of stray animals if the BJP government is returned in the state last week.

On February 20, Prime Minister Modi had said in a rally that he had found a solution to the problem. We are taking the problems of farmers seriously. We will implement all those new schemes after the new government is formed under the leadership of Yogi ji after the model code of conduct ends on March 10. He had said that under a new system, animals that do not give milk, you can earn income from their dung.

However, the opposition Congress has attacked the Chief Minister’s tweet through a tweet. The Congress has criticized the BJP government for ignoring the matter for five years. He said that Yogi Adityanath and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have got time to remember the crisis of stray animals just before the elections.

Congress tweeted that in 5 years, the BJP government has collected bulls 5 times more than the number of BJP members that would not have been formed in Uttar Pradesh. As soon as the elections are approaching, they are now saying that they will make arrangements for ‘holiday animals’.

Let us tell you that in 2019, the Yogi Adityanath government had allocated funds for the construction of gaushalas in the state budget and asked the district administration and urban bodies to make arrangements for the gaushalas.

The state government had also issued an order under which companies can use their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds to provide facilities for cows abandoned or abandoned in rural areas.

But several reports suggest that the problem of stray cattle still persists in Uttar Pradesh, giving farmers sleepless nights.
