Uttarakhand / Rudraprayag : UKD candidate said that I did not attack myself, the whole matter should be investigated by CBI
The police had disclosed on Tuesday in the incident of attack on UKD candidate on Jawadi bypass. According to the police, this incident is false and it was carried out to take political advantage. The UKD candidate alleged that the police conducted the investigation under political pressure. He has now demanded a CBI inquiry into the matter.
This is the case
On February 12, just before the elections, UKD candidate from Rudraprayag Assembly Mohit Dimri was attacked by some unknown people on Jawadi Bypass. In this case, on the complaint of the victim’s side, the police registered a case against the unknown and started the investigation. Giving information, Superintendent of Police Ayush Aggarwal said that after investigation, this case was found to be false and misleading. Putting a final report in the matter, it will be presented to the court. Told that action will be taken under section 182 of IPC for giving wrong information to the police.
Candidate alleges
While questioning the police investigation, UKD candidate Mohit Dimri said that the police has done the investigation under the pressure of a particular party. He said that the investigation and investigation of this matter has not been completed yet and the police have called it misleading. He said that we already had an apprehension that the ruling party would try to divert the investigation by pressurizing it. Just as a public representative of the ruling party wrote a letter to the SP, the matter was already called so-called. From that we had full apprehension that an attempt was being made to influence the investigation by putting pressure on the police.
BJP leader accused
He said that there should be an impartial CBI inquiry into this incident. UKD candidate Mohit Dimri said that the police had termed the incident as misleading even before the investigation. Whereas there should have been a full investigation in this matter. The statements under Section 164 of CrPC were not recorded before the magistrate of the eyewitnesses of the incident. He said that the investigation of the police is in doubt. The incident has been described as so-called by a BJP leader demanding a police inquiry. The same BJP leader was talking to the police officials over the phone for the last two days. Its call details also need to be extracted. Under their pressure, the police have called the incident false.
Threatened movement
The UKD candidate said that BJP leaders want to kill him politically. We are very sure that their workers had attacked and now the incident is being told as false to save the workers. The police investigation is in doubt. We demand a CBI inquiry into it. He said that he had given verbal information to the police about distribution of liquor and money in the village. But the police did not catch anyone. A BJP worker was caught with alcohol, but he was immediately released. He said that the ruling party is completely misusing the government machinery. If justice is not given then Uttarakhand Kranti Dal will agitate in this whole matter.
