No plans to send military forces to Ukraine, NATO chief said amid Russian attack

Russia-Ukraine Crisis: NATO’s statement has come regarding Russia’s attack on Ukraine. NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) chief Jens Stoltenberg has said that the organization has no intention of sending its forces to Ukraine after Russia’s attack. Speaking to the media on Thursday after the emergency meeting of the ambassadors of NATO countries, Stoltenberg said, ‘Ukraine does not have NATO troops and there is no plan to send our NATO troops there.’ It is worth noting that Russia (on Ukraine). This could lead to the start of a war in Europe. Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered the attack. Russia has long opposed Ukraine’s move towards NATO and the European Union.
Putin has been claiming that Ukraine is a puppet of the West (countries). He has demanded a guarantee from Western countries that Ukraine will not join NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization). As a country of the erstwhile Soviet Union, Ukraine has social ties with Russia and Russian language is spoken here in abundance, but these relations have deteriorated since the Russian invasion. Russia had previously attacked Ukraine even after its pro-Russian president was ousted in 2014.
