Himachal: If government employees picket, mass leave or pan down strike, salary will be deducted, FIR will be registered

In Himachal Pradesh, the BJP’s Jairam government has come down to dictatorship. The government has issued a dictatorial decree to stop the protest demonstrations by the government employees in the state. Now if the employees of the state

The government has issued orders citing Civil Service Rules 3 and 7 that the salary of government employees involved in demonstrations, boycotts, pen down strikes and other such activities will be deducted as well as criminal cases will also be registered against the employees.
These orders have been issued on behalf of Balbir Singh, Under Secretary of the Personal Department. According to the orders, disciplinary action will be taken if the employees of any government department do pen down strike and mass leave or strike. It has also been said that if anyone violates the orders, he can be suspended and fired with immediate effect.
Why the government issued orders
Actually, government employees in Himachal Pradesh are disappointed about the payback issue. There was an issue regarding pay-bend in the police. Then the employees of the state expressed their dissatisfaction with the pay commission. Now the issue of old pension scheme is hot. The padyatra from Mandi is going to Shimla. Recently, for two hours every day for 10 days, the doctors of the state did a pen down strike. On Thursday, when the government accepted the demands of the doctors, the strike ended. That’s why government employees are constantly causing trouble for the government. It is an election year and assembly elections are to be held in the state at the end of December.
