Yogi Adityanath needs spiritual world more than politics – Harish Rawat

Congress leader and former Uttarakhand CM Harish Rawat, who reached Prayagraj to woo the voters in the assembly elections, left sarcastic arrows on Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in his gracious style. Tauntingly, he said that the need of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is more for the spiritual world than politics.
He should stay out of BJP’s prapanch. Yogi should unite the country with the spiritual message of Guru Gorakhnath. When our government comes to Uttarakhand, we will give them a place in Champawat to establish Gorakshadham. Champawat is the same place where even today the unbroken tune of Guru Gorakhnath is lit.
Rawat said that Priyanka Gandhi’s activism will definitely benefit in UP. Congress is contesting all the seats in UP this time. The party has given tickets to women and youth in more than half of the seats. Priyanka Gandhi raised the voice of the victims and struggled in Hathras, Sitapur and Lakhimpur Kheri.
Congress emerging as an alternative in UP
Congress is slowly emerging as the third option in the state. On the question of Rahul Gandhi’s activism, the former Chief Minister said that the responsibility of the five states is on his shoulders. That’s why their activism is less visible in UP. He said that the old pension scheme would be implemented in Uttarakhand, Punjab and Goa if the Congress government came to power.
Congress is committed to this. The initiative of Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot will prove to be a guide. On the question of Chief Minister selection in Uttarakhand, Harish Rawat said that the party is clearly winning 48 out of 70 seats in Uttarakhand. It has been the tradition of Congress that the Chief Minister will decide the party’s high command. We will follow this tradition.
