188 citizens of Uttarakhand stranded in Ukraine, 39 residents of Dehradun district

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that a total of 188 students from Uttarakhand are stranded in Ukraine. We are in constant touch with the Ministry of External Affairs and the Government of India. Our officers are working to get our students safe. Parents have been assured of the safe evacuation of their children. On the other hand, DGP Ashok Kumar said that we have received information about 188 people of Uttarakhand trapped in Ukraine. Nine students of Tehri and five hotel workers stranded in Ukraine
Nine students and five hotel workers from the district are stranded in Ukraine. All are in touch with their relatives and are demanding to return home. Tehri Police has sent the list to the government. The son of Man Singh Rautela, a resident of Baurari, is doing MBBS in the Ukrainian capital Kiev, he is a first year student.
