The BJP will review its election management after the declaration of the results of the fifth assembly of Uttarakhand. According to party sources, it will be seen whether there is any lapse in the management. If so, the party organization will work on a plan to further strengthen the foundation of the future. This exercise of the party is being linked to the next year’s municipal elections in the state and then the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Looking at the political scenario of the state, the BJP has remained invincible here since the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the party won all the five seats from the state, and in the 2017 assembly elections, the BJP won a thumping majority. The party got tremendous success in the municipal elections held in the year 2018 and then in the elections of three-tier panchayats. Even in the cooperative elections, the BJP pushed the Congress far away. In the year 2019, BJP again created history by retaining all the five seats in the Lok Sabha elections.
After this, the challenge before the party was to repeat the same performance in the assembly elections. With this approach, he also decorated his fielding. How effective was his election management, it will be clear from the counting of votes on March 10. Whatever be the results of the assembly elections, it will have to be accepted by the BJP organization, it will also take lessons for the future.
Party sources said that after the election results are out, the BJP’s provincial leadership will review it thoroughly. This will show where the party has been strong and where it needs to work more. If there is any flaw in the management, then work will be done on the further action plan with a view to rectifying it. Actually BJP is such a party that after the completion of one election, it starts preparing for the next election. According to sources, the party will further strengthen its political base by taking lessons from the sour and sweet experiences received during the assembly elections in the state. If there is any deficiency at the organizational level, effective steps will be taken to remove it.
