Uttarakhand : BJP’s media in-charge said “Harish Rawat is becoming a burden on Congress”

The BJP has taken a jibe at former Chief Minister and Congress’s state election campaign committee chairman Harish Rawat’s statement in Varanasi, in which Rawat described himself as an election necessity in Uttarakhand. BJP’s state media in-charge Manveer Singh Chouhan said that Harda’s statements about the desire of Uttarakhand and then the need for elections show that he is becoming a burden for the Congress. Harda’s statement simply means that his strategy of showing the chief ministerial face of Congress by claiming that he wants Uttarakhand in the elections was to deceive the public.

BJP leader Chouhan said that in order to attract the attention of the media, he always exposes the truth along with lies. When Harda knew that the party did not want him to be the Chief Minister, why was he asking for votes by tricking him into telling himself as the face. Rawat should publicly demand all the false claims and promises made among the public.

Chouhan also targeted Congress state president Ganesh Godiyal. Terming as baseless Godiyal’s allegation that the government is issuing mining leases and giving appointments through the back door, Chouhan said that the Congress has been known for such works during the tenure of their governments. Congress, which has always been corrupt, feels corruption in every matter.

Control room to four member committee of Congress

The work of the control room set up for the digital membership campaign in the State Congress office will be done by a four-member committee under the supervision of the state president of the campaign, Rajendra Singh Bhandari. Rajendra Singh Bhandari told that the committee includes convener Anil Rawat, co-convenor Suleman Ali and Mohan Kala. Apart from this, a team of senior party leaders in the form of control committee will assist in the completion of the membership drive. To give impetus to the membership drive, the party has appointed in-charges in 70 assembly constituencies and 28 organizational districts.
