Mayor Sunil Uniyal Gama, former MLA Rajkumar, Congress Metropolitan President Lalchand Sharma etc. were present on this occasion. Sanjay Garg, the servitor of the temple, told that there will be Bhasma Aarti on Tuesday on Shivratri.
Crowd of buyers gathered in the market
On the eve of Shivratri, there was a rush in the market to buy amaranth laddus, buckwheat flour along with fruits. The prices of fruits were also higher than normal days. A banana sold for Rs 40 a dozen sold for Rs 60. At the same time, tangerines also sold up to Rs 50 a kg with an increase of Rs 20.
