Uttarakhand : Harish Rawat, Pritam Singh and Ganesh Godiyal will visit Delhi before counting of votes, CM face will be discussed!

Before the counting of votes for the assembly elections in Uttarakhand, before March 10, big leaders of Congress are once again leaving for Delhi. Leader of Opposition Pritam Singh has gone to Delhi last day. State President Ganesh Godiyal will go to Delhi on March 7. After Godiyal, former Chief Minister Harish Rawat is also scheduled to meet top leaders in Delhi. Rawat is likely to visit Delhi by March 8. This will be the second visit of Congress leaders to Delhi within 10 days. This series of mail meetings with top party leaders is being seen as a link to the future strategy. Especially in the former CM Rawat camp and Leader of Opposition Pritam camp, there is a lot of activity regarding these meetings.

In the event of Congress forming the government in the state, both the leaders are strong contenders for the CM’s chair. On the other hand, Rawat described his visit as a normal tour. He said that meetings with the top leadership are held regularly. As the counting of votes is near, the strategy of counting of votes will also be discussed with the top leaders. The Congress on Friday dismissed the possibility of defections after the counting of votes. Godiyal said that now BJP’s pulse is not going to melt. All Congress candidates are strong. No one is going to fall in the trap of BJP. In the year 2016, the BJP had succeeded in defection, but now the reality of the BJP has come to the fore.

State President Ganesh Godiyal said that guideline is being issued to all the candidates and district-metropolitan office bearers regarding counting of votes. Extra vigilance will be taken regarding postal ballot and service voter. Godiyal said that complaints of misuse of power by the BJP have started coming, so it is necessary to take precaution.
