This time bookies are not taking bookings of any other political party other than AAP for Punjab elections. Similar is the situation in Uttarakhand, where BJP remains the first and last choice of bookies. According to the bookies, out of 117 seats in Punjab, AAP is expected to win 65 seats.
A bookie, on the condition of anonymity, told IANS: “We are predicting AAP will win 65 seats in Punjab. In Punjab, only AAP is being bet, other than that no party is being valued. Used to be. If our calculations are correct then AAP can win 70 seats in Punjab.
“The BJP, which is contesting the Punjab Assembly elections in alliance with former state chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh’s new party Punjab Lok Congress and Shiromani Akali Dal (United), is nowhere in the contest. Congress will get only that number of seats if it remains in the opposition.
Regarding Uttarakhand, the bookie said that there is only BJP there. There is no feeling of AAP and Congress there. Here the prices of 100 on 100 are being felt, like the BJP and Samajwadi Party are feeling in Uttar Pradesh. At the local level, bookies will be opening different prices for each assembly seat, but at the state level there is only one price and that is one on one.
