If you have done an inter-caste marriage, and you want to get financial help of 2.5 lakh rupees, then you have to apply for Dr. Ambedkar Foundation after marriage. Keep in mind that this application has to be done within one year of marriage.

If you want to take advantage of this scheme. So for this, one of the two people getting married should be from outside the Dalit community and the other person must be from the Dalit community. To take advantage of this scheme, you have to register your marriage under the Hindu Marriage Act 1995. For this you have to enter an affidavit, after which your marriage will be registered.

If we talk about the benefits, then under this scheme, if you have the first marriage, then only you can take advantage of this scheme. If this is your second marriage or you have been married more than once, then you will not be considered eligible for this scheme.
