The answer of the Election Commission has come on the issue of getting EVM machines in an open vehicle in Varanasi on Tuesday. Issuing a statement, the commission has said that- It has been brought to the notice by some media channels that some EVMs were being carried in Varanasi on March 8 which were objected by the political representatives present there. During investigation it has been found that these EVMs were marked for training.
According to news agency ANI, while giving information on behalf of the office of the Chief Electoral Officer of UP, it has been said that some political people stopped the vehicle and spread rumors about these EVMs being taken for training in Uttar Pradesh. . All EVMs used for voting are sealed and secured inside the strong room.

At the same time, regarding this matter, Varanasi District Magistrate Kaushal Raj Sharma issued a statement saying – Tomorrow there is training of the counting staff of Varanasi in a college. 20 EVM machines were being taken for him. He was stopped by some people in a buggy. There was a confusion among those people that whether these are those EVM machines or not.
Sharma further added, “Later there was a crowd here. All the officers explained to him. Now the candidates and presidents of all the parties have been called to make it clear to all of you that the EVMs that were being carried were for all training.
The District Magistrate further said, “This EVM and that EVM are not related to each other. Everything is being clarified. We have now decided that tomorrow the counting training of the employees will be done without EVMs.”
