Waiting for just a few hours, you will know whose government is being formed in Uttarakhand? The difference between victory and defeat can make a difference, the eyes of the parties, the rebels

Will the myth of change in power be broken in every assembly election or this time also the voter will carry forward this tradition, now the picture will be clear as soon as the EVMs are opened after 24 hours. Counting of votes for all 70 assembly seats of Uttarakhand will take place on Thursday. By noon, a lot of scenario will be clear that out of the 632 candidates who have entered the fray, the fate of 70 is going to shine. After the formation of a separate state of Uttarakhand, there is a close contest between the BJP and the Congress in the fifth assembly elections. Just as exit polls of various news channels and agencies have predicted the formation of government for both BJP and Congress, similar indications are also given from it. BJP and Congress are face to face on 40 to 45 seats, while in 25 to 30 seats BSP, SP, Aam Aadmi Party and independents can become the third angle of the contest.
BJP and Congress gave final shape to the preparations
BJP and Congress have finalized preparations for counting of votes. Talking about the BJP, on Tuesday, the provincial officials were involved in it throughout the day. On Thursday, in addition to the war room in the state office, control rooms will be active in the districts. Coordinators have been appointed in the districts. There will be a virtual dialogue with the counting agents on Wednesday. Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, BJP state in-charge Dushyant Kumar Gautam are reaching Doon on Wednesday to monitor the counting of votes. National General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya has already reached Doon. On the other hand, Congress’s central leadership nominated new observer MP Deepender Hooda, state in-charge Devendra Yadav reached Dehradun on Tuesday, along with many leaders including former Chief Minister Harish Rawat, Leader of Opposition Pritam Singh and State Congress President Ganesh Godiyal, preparations and possible counting of votes. Brainstormed on strategy regarding election results.
As many votes as last time, it is difficult to assess
This time, along with BJP and Congress, the Aam Aadmi Party, which has contested for the first time in the state, has staked claim on all 70 seats. In Uttarakhand, all 70 seats went to polls simultaneously on February 14. This time too, voters exercised their right almost equal to the 2017 assembly elections. In the year 2017, the voting percentage was 65.56, while this time the figure reached 65.37. However, if the postal ballot data is included in this, then some increase in the voting percentage will be recorded. That is, this task is not easy at all this time for those who estimate the election results on the basis of voting percentage.
The difference between winning and losing can make a difference
From the political scenario that has been created, it seems that this time such seats may be more than before, where there will be a close contest. In the 2017 election, more than one-third of the 26 seats saw a similar tough contest. Then in 15 seats less than five thousand, six seats less than two thousand and five seats were decided by a margin of less than one thousand votes. In this situation, this time a small margin of defeat and victory can also change the result.
BJP and Congress eyes on the rebels
The rebels of BJP and Congress can also affect the result. In this election, 13 rebels from BJP and six from Congress are in the fray. Interestingly, both the parties are now in touch with their rebels who are contesting as independents and are considered part of the main contest. This exercise is so that they can be brought in their court in case of winning.
When power was lost by a margin of only 0.65 percent votes
If we calculate the vote percentage of BJP and Congress in the last two assembly elections, then many interesting facts come to the fore. In the 2012 assembly elections, the BJP got only 0.65 percent less votes than the Congress and the BJP was voted out of power. Then Congress got 34.03 percent and BJP got 33.38 percent votes. In this election, BJP got 31 seats and Congress 32 seats and Congress got the opportunity to form the government as the largest party. In the 2017 elections, the Congress got 33.49 percent and the BJP got 46.51 percent. The BJP got 13.02 per cent more votes and won 57 seats and decimated the Congress in 11 seats.
