It is being talked about 11-year-old innocent Naina Thakur of this village. Naina Thakur’s father Manoj Kumar is working as a pharmacist in the Department of Ayurveda in Kullu district. They have three daughters, of whom Naina was the eldest.

In fact, on March 3, there was an accident of HRTC bus near Ghid village of Sarkaghat subdivision. Naina was in the bus and was coming home from Kullu along with her younger sister and maternal uncle. In this bus accident, Naina suffered serious head injuries and her younger sister’s leg. After treatment at Medical College Ner Chowk, he was referred to PGI Chandigarh, where doctors declared him brain dead and put him on life support system.

The doctors gave advice for organ donation, the family accepted it with a sad heart
The doctors of PGI told the family that it is no longer possible to save their daughter. In such a situation, the family can give new life to others by donating organs. Naina’s father Manoj Kumar and grandfather Jagdish Chand Thakur told that it was difficult to take the decision of donating their daughter’s organ, but only one nature of Naina inspired them to do so and that nature was kindness. Naina was very kind towards others. For this reason, the family decided to donate his organs. Perhaps this will give peace to Naina’s soul. On the night of March 8, the body of Naina was brought to her native village and on March 9, the body was cremated with full rituals.

Two got kidneys and two got eyesight
After the approval of the relatives, the doctors of PGI started the work of removing the organ from the body. Naina’s two kidneys were transplanted to two patients. Both these patients were on dialysis. Similarly, two corneas were transplanted to two patients. In such a situation, he will now be able to see the world. In a press release issued by PGI, it has been told that a few days ago, when Yash Pandey, 20, of Ludhiana, was brain dead, his family also showed similar courage and his heart, kidney, pancreas and cornea were donated by the family. Was. Yash was also a victim of a serious road accident.
