These 10 heavyweights collapsed in the elections including Deputy CM in UP, CM in Punjab and Uttarakhand

The election results of five states including Uttar Pradesh are almost out. In four of the five states, the BJP has again returned, while in Punjab, Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party has captured it. BJP made history by making a comeback in UP and Uttarakhand, then Congress has also left Punjab. But many political stalwarts got upset in the battle of victory.
Swami Prasad Maurya
Swami Prasad Maurya, who left BJP and joined Samajwadi Party just before the elections, has lost from Fazilnagar assembly seat. After the defection, he had said that there is no trace of whomever he leaves.
Pushkar Singh Dhami
BJP created a new history by returning to power in Uttarakhand with a two-thirds majority, but the party suffered a major setback and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami lost the election from Khatima Assembly seat.
Keshav Prasad Maurya
After getting the majority of the BJP in Uttar Pradesh, there is an atmosphere of celebration among the supporters in the entire state. But UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya has to face defeat from Sirathu seat. Because of this, some disappointment is definitely being seen somewhere.
Harish Rawat
Harish Rawat, who led the Congress’s election campaign in Uttarakhand, could not win his seat. Harish Rawat has to be defeated from Lalkuan seat.
Navjot Sidhu
Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu has lost the election from Amritsar East seat. Navjot Singh Sidhu has been defeated by Aam Aadmi Party’s candidate Jeevan Jyot Kaur from Amritsar East seat.
Charanjit Singh Channi
Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi was in the fray from two seats, Bhadaur and Chamkaur Sahib. In Punjab, Congress’s chief ministerial candidate Charanjit Singh Channi lost from both the seats.
Amarinder Singh
Former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh also lost the election in the wave of Aam Aadmi Party. Punjab Lok Congress President Captain Amarinder Singh was in the fray from Patiala seat. Captain has been defeated by Ajit Pal Singh Kohli of Aam Aadmi Party by a margin of about 19 thousand votes.
Chandrashekhar Azad
Chandra Shekhar Azad, the candidate from Gorakhpur seat against Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, got only 6,069 votes. While CM Yogi Adityanath got 1 lakh 15 thousand 936 votes.
Ajay Kumar Lallu
UP Congress President Ajay Kumar Lallu lost the election from Tamkuhiraj seat in Kushinagar.
Ramgovind chaudhary
Ramgovind Chaudhary, the Samajwadi Party’s candidate from Bansdih seat of Ballia district, had been winning continuously for the last several elections. This time he has been defeated by Ketki Singh of BJP.
