These Muslim candidates became MLAs in UP, Azam Khan and Abdullah Azam Khan also waved the flag of victory

UP Assembly Election 2022 election is over. The result has also arrived. In this election, there has been a contest between the BJP and the Samajwadi Party. An interesting thing happened with this. 35 Muslim candidates have been elected in the 18th UP Legislative Assembly. In the 2017 elections, only 23 Muslims became MLAs. There is about 20 percent Muslim population in UP. The newly elected MLAs constitute 8.93 percent of the total 403 MLAs in the state.
