After the formation of Uttarakhand, till now not a single MLA has been able to become a minister from this district, will you get a chance this time?

The process of speculation has started regarding the nature of the cabinet in the new government in Uttarakhand. Who will be the 11 ministers in the Chief Minister’s team and from which district, now this question is roaming in everyone’s mind. The five districts, which missed out on representation in the 2017 government, also have high hopes this time. Especially waiting for the stand of the new Chief Minister regarding Uttarkashi. This is the only district in the state where the MLA has not got a place in the Council of Ministers since the formation of the state. The formation of the cabinet in the new government will be a big challenge for the future Chief Minister of the state. Regional as well as caste equations play an important role in deciding the cabinet in the state.
Opportunities for new faces
This time new faces are more likely to get a place in the cabinet. Cabina Minister Yatiswaranand has lost the election while former Cabinet Minister Yashpal Arya and Dr. Harak Singh are no longer in BJP. In such a situation, out of 11 ministers, three new people are sure to get a chance. According to sources, the party high command is also considering old ministers Satpal Maharaj, Arvind Pandey, Banshidhar Bhagat, Bishan Singh Chufal, Subodh Uniyal, Dhan Singh Rawat, Rekha Arya. The future of the ministers will be decided based on their performance.
The dominance of these districts remained in the cabinet till now
In the cabinet of the year 2017, only three districts of the state dominated. Of the six assembly seats in Pauri, there were three ministers in the form of Satpal Maharaj, Dhan Singh Rawat and Harak Singh Rawat. Trivendra Singh Rawat represented Dehradun as the first Chief Minister in the year 2017. Vis President Premchand Agarwal is also with him from Dehradun.
After Trivendra stepped down as CM, Ganesh Joshi was inducted into the cabinet as a cabinet minister. Along with this, Madan Kaushik from Haridwar district with 11 MLAs and later Yatiswaranand got a chance. Arvind Pandey and Yashpal Arya became cabinet ministers from Udhamsinghnagar. After this Pushkar Singh Dhami came as the third Chief Minister who represented Khatima seat of USnagar.
