Shock to railway passengers before Holi, 14 trains were canceled in Purvanchal by running three specials

By giving three special trains to the passengers in Holi, the already running trains were canceled at the time of Holi itself. Passengers who have already made reservations are now very upset due to the cancellation of 14 trains of different routes by different railways. They now face the problem of getting a confirmed berth.

Approval has been given to run only three Holi special trains from Gorakhpur in Holi. In such a situation, it will not be easy for the migrants to go home this time. Presently no berth is available in trains originating from cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Surat, Bangalore, Katihar, Chennai, Visakhapatnam, Pune, Hyderabad, Kolkata etc. According to railway sources, this time the operation of special trains will be less. The reason for the cancellation of railway trains is telling the repair of tracks on various routes. In such a situation, the question arises that if the repair had to be done, then it would have been done in February itself or after Holi has passed.

This is the reason that the schedule of running only three Holi special trains from Gorakhpur headquarters has been issued. However, experts say that after Corona, most of the regular trains start operating one of the reasons for this. In the event of sufficient rakes being available during the Corona period, the Railway Festival special trains were operated as per the requirement. Presently, the number of Holi Special trains is likely to be less due to less number of additional rakes.

These three trains will run

▪️05303 Gorakhpur – Ernakulam will run in one round. Gorakhpur – Ernakulam Weekly Holi Special will leave Gorakhpur at 08.30 am on 19th March and will arrive at 12.00 pm on the third day. In the return journey, 05304 Ernakulam – Gorakhpur Weekly Holi Special will leave Ernakulam at 11.55 pm on 21st March and reach Gorakhpur at 8.35 am on the third day. A total of 22 coaches will be installed in this train.

▪️It has been decided to operate 05403 Gorakhpur-Bandra Terminus Weekly Holi Special in three rounds. Gorakhpur – Bandra Terminus Weekly Holi Special will leave Gorakhpur at 5.00 am on 11th, 18th & 25th March and arrive Bandra at 4 pm on the third day. In the return journey, 05404 Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur Weekly Holi Special will leave Bandra Terminus at 7.25 pm on 12, 19 & 26 March and reach Gorakhpur at 06.45 am on the third day. A total of 22 coaches will be installed in this train.

▪️04518 Chandigarh-Gorakhpur Weekly Holi Special will run on Thursday and March 17. According to CPRO Pankaj Kumar Singh, 04518 Chandigarh-Gorakhpur weekly special will leave Chandigarh at 11.15 pm and reach Gorakhpur at 6.20 pm the next day. In the return journey, 04517 Gorakhpur – Chandigarh Weekly Special will leave Gorakhpur at 10.10 pm on 11th and 18th March and will reach Chandigarh at 2.10 pm, the next day. For the convenience of the passengers, 21 coaches have been installed in this train.

▪️18202 Nautanwa-Durg Express running from Nautanwa on 11th and 13th March will remain cancelled.
▪️04652 Amritsar – Jaynagar Special will remain canceled on 13th & 16th March, 2022.
▪️04651 Jaynagar – Amritsar Special 13 will remain canceled on 15th March, 2022.
▪️14016 Anandvihar – Raxaul Express will remain canceled on 13th March, 2022.
▪️14015 Raxaul-Anandvihar Express will remain canceled on 13th & 15th March, 2022.
▪️14524 Ambala – Muzaffarpur Express will remain canceled on 12th March, 2022.
▪️14523 Muzaffarpur – Ambala Express will remain canceled on 14th March, 2022.
▪️15050 Gorakhpur-Kolkata Express will remain canceled on 12th and 16th March, 2022.
