Uttarakhand : After the Kasam Parade in KRC, 141 soldiers became part of the Indian Army

The swearing-in ceremony of Kumaon, Naga Regiment was organized at Kumaon Regiment Center Ranikhet on Saturday. On this occasion, 135 new brave soldiers became an integral part of the Indian Army, taking a pledge to protect the country’s pride, honor and glory. Colonel SK Yadav, Deputy Commandant, KRC, the chief guest took the salute of the parade. Throwing light on the saga of the regiment, he called upon the newly trained jawans to carry forward the glorious traditions of the regiment.
KRC Deputy Commandant Col Yadav, the chief guest of the oath-taking ceremony of Kumaon, Naga Regiment, held at the historic Somnath Maidan, inspected the parade. Various contingents of newly trained jawans, led by Parade Commander Captain Sumuk MS, took out a splendid march past amidst patriotic voices of the regiment band and saluted the chief guest. The religious guru administered the oath of service to the nation by keeping the national flag and scriptures as witnesses. As the newly trained soldiers crossed the last step in the Kasam parade, the Indian Army got 151 new brave soldiers. Addressing the function, the Deputy Commandant Colonel said that the soldiers have taken the highest decision of their lives by joining the army. He also called upon the jawans to be ready to make supreme sacrifice to protect the country and its borders. On this occasion, he honored the recipients who got top positions in various activities during the training by giving them excellent medals.
