Uttarakhand / Kotdwar : Akshit and Aanchal selected as the best volunteers
The seven-day camp of National Service Scheme unit of MKVN Senior Secondary School located at Kanva Ghati under Bhabar area has been concluded with colorful cultural programs. Akshit Joshi and Aanchal Chaudhary were selected as the best volunteers for their excellent work during the camp.
The concluding program was inaugurated by Chief Guest Satyaprakash Thapliyal, President of Uttarakhand Lok Sahitya and Cultural Manch, Dr. KS Negi, President of Rotary Club Kotdwar, PL Khantwal, Vice President of Sarvodaya Mandal and others by jointly lighting the lamp. Social worker Satya Prakash Thapliyal apprised the volunteers about the ill-effects of drugs and the main objective of the National Service Scheme. GGIC Kalalghati spokesperson Dr. Manju Kaparwan praised the work done by the volunteers during the camp and motivated them to work in the interest of the nation and society. On the occasion, volunteers presented Saraswati vandana, welcome song, goal song and cultural programs. Volunteer Renu Daksh recited a poem on NSS theme ‘Nasha Mukt Uttarakhand, Uttarakhand with Sanskar. On this occasion, Managing Director of the school Prakash Chandra Kothari, Executive Director Mayank Prakash Kothari, Principal Aarti Kandwal, Vice Principal Vipin Jadli, Program Officer Vipin Singh Rawat etc. were present.
