In view of the ongoing war in Ukraine, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a high-level meeting to review India’s security preparedness and the current global scenario. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar also attended the meeting. National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and other senior officials also participated in the meeting.

In the meeting, PM Modi had said that India will continue to help the people of its neighbors and developing countries trapped in the war. Due to the ongoing Russo-Ukraine war, the citizens of India were trapped there, mostly students. To remove them, India has launched ‘Operation Ganga Abhiyan’. India has brought back about 19,000 of its citizens under the mission ‘Operation Ganga’.

America is preparing to give additional assistance of 1500 crores

At the same time, US President Joe Biden is preparing to give additional assistance of 1500 crore rupees to Ukraine, so that Ukraine can buy more modern weapons and help the refugees. In such a situation, it has become clear that neither the troops of European countries nor NATO countries will land in Ukraine. In this way Ukraine will have to fight its own battle.

Ready for talks with Putin in Israel: Zelensky

At the same time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that he is ready for talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Israel if the ceasefire is reached. Zelensky said on Saturday that he told Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett that he was ready to meet Putin in Jerusalem. Bennett visited Moscow for meetings with Putin and spoke several times with Zelensky, the leaders of France and Germany.
