First cyclonic storm of the year ‘Asni’ coming in the Bay of Bengal

Due to the formation of a low pressure area over the Bay of Bengal, a cyclonic storm is likely to occur over Andaman and Nicobar Islands on March 21 and 22. The name of this first cyclonic storm of the year 2022 is Asni. According to the Meteorological Department, a cyclonic storm Asni is forming in the south-west Indian Ocean, which will move in the north-west direction towards Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
According to the rules, the name of this cyclonic storm has been given by Sri Lanka. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be strong waves in the south-eastern part of the Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman Sea on Thursday and Friday. The Meteorological Department has advised fishermen not to go fishing in these sea areas till Wednesday. According to the Meteorological Department, winds will blow at a speed of about 90 km in Andaman and Nicobar Islands on Saturday and Sunday. The Meteorological Department is not saying anything clearly about how dangerous the cyclonic storm Asni will be and how much devastation it will cause in which areas.
