Now your mobile recharge will end in 30 days, not 28, TRAI order issued to telecom companies

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has taken a big action on telecom companies. TRAI has issued a new order to telecom companies, according to which, companies will have to keep at least one plan which is valid for the whole month. Telecom companies have been given 60 days for this.
60 days have been given
TRAI has said that telecom companies will have to keep at least one plan, one special tariff voucher and one special recharge plan with validity for the whole month. If this date does not come in the next month, then there will be a need to recharge on the last date of the coming month. Companies have been given 60 days to implement this. A 1-month plan will be necessary from June 1, 2022.
28 days validity is available in the name of a month
Let us tell you that most of the telecom companies give validity of 28 days to the customers in the name of one month recharge. Although Jio has launched this plan. At the same time, other telecom companies like Vodafone- Idea and Airtel will have to launch new plans within 60 days.
Complaints were being received continuously
In fact, TRAI was constantly getting complaints from customers regarding this. According to customers, companies are reducing the validity of the plan/tariff and making it 28 days instead of one month. After this, a few days ago, TRAI said that it had received complaints from consumers expressing concern about tariff proposals of 28 days validity (or multiple thereof) by telecom service providers. TRAI had said that with the enactment of the amendment, telecom subscribers will have more options to choose service offers of suitable validity and duration.
