Uttar Pradesh : Now tighten the screws on private schools, parents will not be able to force for dress and books

Private schools will not be able to force parents to buy clothes and stationery. Regarding this, strict orders have been issued by the District Inspector of Schools, Ghaziabad. Strict action will be taken against such school if parents get complaint of forcibly selling books from any school. Parents can buy the book from any shop they want.

In the instruction, the schools have been asked to follow the Uttar Pradesh Self-financed Independent Schools (Regulation of Fees) Act 2018. At the same time, the list of books put in class-wise for the children in the school will have to be made available to the students and parents. Schools will also have to give information about which class of children’s book or dress will be available at which shop, on their website.

DIOA Pradeep Dwivedi said that now schools will not be able to force parents to buy clothes, books or any other item. If any school does this then action will be taken against them.
