“I am giving 24 hours, bring a new agriculture policy, otherwise we will remove it”, Telangana CM KCR lashed out at the central government
Telangana Chief Minister and Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) President K Chandrashekhar Rao has openly challenged the Narendra Modi government at the Center on the issue of farmers and agriculture and said that soon. Bring a new agriculture policy as soon as possible or else we will remove you from power. KCR, who is protesting with party leaders in New Delhi on the issue of rice purchase, said that the PM is a merchant of forgiveness.
He said, “Telangana says farmers are not begging but asking for rights. Make a new agriculture policy or else we will remove it.” KCR said, “We are not weak enough to push the farmers into the Ganges.” Attacking the center, KCR said that this is a conspiracy government. He asked that the government does not have money or the Modi government does not have the mind? He said, “You should be ashamed of the PM who does not support the farmers.”
KCR, who has been opposing PM Modi for the last few months, said, “If Modi has guts, then he should arrest me.” He said that whoever speaks against him, they put CBI and ED against him. Everyone is Harishchandra in his party.
KCR said, “With folded hands, I tell the PM and Union Food Minister Piyush Goyal that please buy our food grains. I give you 24 hours, after that, we are free to take our decision.”
KCR called for providing MSP to the farmers. He said that the leader of the whole country will be connected for this. Attacking Union Minister Piyush Goyal, KCR said that he will create such a flood in the country that Piyush Goyal will go away. He further said that Piyush Goyal is a fool.
The Chief Minister of Telangana said that the PM is insulting us. He asked is it a crime to grow paddy? He alleged that the government was working on such a policy in which agriculture should be given to the corporate and farmers started doing jobs.
This is the first protest rally of TRS in Delhi after coming to power in Telangana in 2014. Party MPs, MLCs, MLAs, all cabinet ministers and elected representatives of urban and rural local bodies are involved in the sit-in at Telangana Bhavan here. This sit-in demonstration is being held at Telangana Bhavan. Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait was also with him on the stage. Apart from the Chief Minister, all the big leaders of TRS were present.
