Slight rise in gold and silver, at a price above 52,000
After the fall in the prices of gold and silver in the domestic market on Monday, a slight increase was seen. After the opening of the market, there was a rise in gold-silver, but then both the bullion reached the red mark. However, then it improved and around 11.12 am, gold was trading at Rs 52,091 per 10 grams on the Multi Commodity Exchange. It saw a rise of Rs 20 or 0.04%. Gold closed at 52,071 on Friday. During this, silver was at the level of Rs 67,080 per kg. There was an increase of Rs 88 or 0.13% in this. Silver had closed at Rs 66,992 in the previous trade.
Let us inform that gold was on a slight decline in the international market this morning. In the early morning, spot gold was down 0.2 per cent at $1,941.95 an ounce. US gold futures were flat at $1,945.70 an ounce.
