Uttarakhand / Dehradun : Quran exhibition started, Quran available from quarter to two grams to 2.5 tons

A two-day Quran exhibition started from Saturday at Tasmiya Academy located on Turner Road. Mayor Sunil Uniyal Gama, MLA Vinod Chamoli and Khajan Das inaugurated and appreciated the exhibition. This exhibition is the 18th exhibition in which years old Quran is being displayed. Convener Dr S Farooq said that Quran ranging from 2.5 grams to 2.5 tonnes is available in the library. Here the Quran written and printed by the Mughal rulers is also available in many languages of India, including in foreign languages, the Quran has been translated to reach the people.
This year a new Quran 1487 feet long and 2 feet wide is being included in the exhibition. He claimed that such a Quran is not available anywhere. Apart from this, Quran written on copper, 24 feet long and 12 feet wide Quran, Pocket Quran, Digital Quran Wavi and Alif Quran will also be the center of attraction. Mufti Wasiullah told that the exhibition will be organized till 5:00 pm. The message of Quran is being conveyed to the society through the exhibition, while religious harmony also increases.
