Uttarakhand got the gift of four Kendriya Vidyalayas

Uttarakhand is going to get the gift of four Kendriya Vidyalayas. Instructions have been given to prepare the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the establishment of new Kendriya Vidyalayas at Kotdwar, Narendranagar, Madan Negi and Dwarahat. The State Government has been demanding the establishment of Kendriya Vidyalayas from the Central Government for a long time. The campaign of the state government seems to be paying off. In three districts, steps have been taken towards the establishment of Kendriya Vidyalayas at Kotdwar in Pauri, Narendranagar and Madan Negi in Tehri and Dwarahat in Almora. DPR will be prepared from CPWD and MES.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Deputy Commissioner Meenakshi Jain has directed the principals of nearby Kendriya Vidyalayas Lansdowne, Rishikesh, Saurkhand and Ranikhet to contact CPWD and MES. He said that the papers related to the proposed land for opening the school would be provided to him. According to Deputy Commissioner Meenakshi Jain, the process is going on to recommend the establishment of new Kendriya Vidyalayas to the Parliamentary Committee.
Large population of Kotdwar region will get benefit: Ritu Khanduri Bhushan
Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan said that Kotdwar will get the gift of Kendriya Vidyalaya. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has said this to him. He had submitted a letter in this regard to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on April 7.
Proposals related to Kendriya Vidyalaya have already been sent to the Union Ministry of Education. More than 60 percent of the population of Kotdwar region with a population of about 2.5 lakhs belong to military background. Eight acres of land has been sanctioned in the name of Kendriya Vidyalaya in Jhandichad West.
