In many states across the country, where cases of violence and clashes have been reported from many places on the occasion of Ram Navami and Hanuman Jayanti, meanwhile, the real picture of India has also been seen. In Kota district of Rajasthan, people of the Muslim community showered flowers on the Hanuman Jayanti procession and welcomed him by drinking sherbet. Such pictures are presenting an example of harmony in India.
A procession and procession were taken out on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti on Saturday near Khairabad Masjid in Ramganjmandi area of Kota Rural district. On this procession, the Muslim society showered flowers and offered sherbat to the people involved in the procession. Not only this, in the procession, some youths of Muslim society showed communal harmony and brotherhood by performing art in the arena.
The procession began on Saturday evening from the Hanuman temple in Kherabad village and covered a distance of about two kilometers while passing through a Muslim-dominated area, with two mosques on its way. Most of the people involved in the procession were wearing saffron clothes. The Muslims, led by Tahir Ahmed, welcomed the procession, showered flowers and garlanded the participants. He also set up stalls outside two mosques in the area and offered cold water and sherbet to the devotees.
Ramganj Mandi SDM Rajesh Daga has been quoted as saying that Muslims came out of the mosques after offering evening prayers to welcome the procession. He said that when Muslim youth were asked to join the procession, they displayed their martial arts skills with the people of the Hindu community.
The SDM said that the administration had held a meeting with representatives of Muslim and Hindu communities before the procession. He said that Muslims enthusiastically welcomed the procession.
