33 killed in mosque and school bombings in Afghanistan

At least 33 people, including school students, were killed on Friday in an explosion at a mosque and religious school in northern Afghanistan, officials said. A Taliban official gave this information.
Zabihullah Mujahid tweeted the news of the bombing in the city of Imam Sahib in Kunduz province, saying 43 other people were also injured, many of them students.
Although no one immediately claimed responsibility for the blasts, an organization affiliated with Afghanistan’s Islamic State claimed to have carried out the bombings on Thursday targeting Afghanistan’s minority Shia Muslims.
Ten people were killed and several others injured in the blast at a Shia mosque in northern Mazar-i-Sharif.
