External Affairs Minister Jaishankar will visit Bangladesh on Thursday, will invite PM Sheikh Hasina to visit India

External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar will visit Dhaka on Thursday to extend an invitation to Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to visit India. “Yes, the External Affairs Minister is going to make a one-day visit to Dhaka on Thursday,” Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla told reporters in Delhi on Monday. Will take invitation letter to Hasina to come to India.”

Foreign Secretary and Bangladesh High Commissioner Muhammad Imran on Monday attended the awards ceremony to honor the winners of a competition organized on the occasion of India-Bangladesh Friendship Day. During the same event, Shringla shared views on strengthening the bilateral partnership. Both the delegates felicitated the winners of Friendship Day logo and background competition organized on the occasion of India-Bangladesh Friendship Day.
