This decision was taken under the chairmanship of Chief Development Officer Sandeep Tiwari. It may be mentioned that a meeting of level forest fire protection was organized in Nainital district. Presiding over the meeting, the Chief Development Officer said that those who set fire to forests are no longer well, along with fines if found setting fire, a reward of 10 thousand will be given to those who file FIR and inform about those who set fire. . As soon as the fire season starts, the incidents of fire also start increasing, to control it, many plans are being made by the administration including the forest department. Taking the forest fire seriously, the district administration is also alert. The Chief Development Officer said that the incidents of fire are increasing, due to which the property is also getting damaged. Superintendent of Police Jagdish Chandra said that action would be taken by registering an AIR against the person who throws garbage in the drains of the city and sets the garbage on fire. Nainital is a tourist hub and is famous for its scenic beauty.
