Wheat crops standing in fields caught fire due to storm, flights affected at Delhi airport

There was a sudden change in the weather on Monday. Due to the storm in some parts of Hisar, Jhajjar and Jind districts of Haryana, standing wheat crop and wheat straw caught fire in the fields. Meanwhile, at least six flights were diverted and several other services were delayed due to the storm that hit the Delhi airport on Monday evening.
Sources said that a Vistara flight from Mumbai and two Alliance Air flights, one from Jaipur and one from Lucknow, were diverted towards Lucknow airport on Monday evening. Sources said that two IndiGo flights, one from Jabalpur and one from Patna, were diverted to the Jaipur airport.
