A person was thrashed to death by bouncers of a pub in Sector-38, Noida. The incident happened on Monday, April 25, when Brijesh Rai, 30, had gone to the Lost Lemons Pub in Gardens Galleria Mall for a night party with 5-6 of his friends. At around 11 pm, Brijesh got into an argument with the manager of the pub regarding the bill, after which the whole controversy escalated. After the dispute escalated, the bouncers there started beating him. Hit him so much that the person fell there. He suffered a serious head injury. Brijesh was taken to the hospital, but doctors declared him brought dead. Brijesh is a resident of Chapra, Bihar.
Police detained 16 people
Noida Police, who reached there after the incident, has detained 16 people, while 8 people have been arrested. Police is examining the CCTV footage of the pub and mall. ADG Law-and-Order Prashant Kumar said that we will investigate the matter whether the safety rules were being followed in the pub or not. According to the police – a pub employee was also injured in the fight. He has been taken to the hospital. At the same time, Noida Additional DCP Noida Ranvijay Singh said that the statements of the people present with Brijesh will also be taken, after which the real reason behind the murder will be known.
Pub employees said – Brijesh was avoiding party bill payment
According to the report of a news website, those who have been detained by the police told that Brijesh was trying to avoid paying the bill after the party, which led to an argument with one of the pub employees. Hui. An employee told that Brijesh was already drunk. In an intoxicated state, he went to the employees’ outlet. He had a drink in the outlet as well, but when he was asked to pay the bill, he started evasive. Due to all this, he got into an argument with the manager. By then the security of the mall had been alerted. However, later that person made the bill payment. The bouncers then kicked him out.
Brijesh was spilling liquor on the floor
Another employee said that Brijesh’s friends were spilling liquor on the floor. The employee said, ‘I reached out to him for bill clearance. He was spilling beer in the restaurant with his friends. After which the bouncers posted in the security of the mall came. Brijesh got into an argument with him and he slapped the bouncer. Then the bouncers beat him up.
