PM Narendra Modi to inaugurate SemiconIndia Conference 2022 tomorrow at Bengaluru

Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate SemiconIndia Conference 2022, the three-day event taking place from April 29th to May 1st, 2022. The conference is envisioned as the launch pad to kickstart India’s ambition in becoming the global semiconductor hub and nurture the chip design and manufacturing ecosystem. Eminent names from industry associations, research organizations, academia and industry are set to articulate opportunities, challenges and innovative solutions that will help accelerate growth of the semicon ecosystem in India.

Agenda for SemiconIndia Conference 2022

The conference is being steered under the able guidance of Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister for Electronics & Information Technology, Railways and Communication & Shri Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Minister of State for Electronics & Information Technology and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship. The discourse throughout three days of conference will focus on policy, talent, and government’s role and efforts in creating a favorable growth environment.

The flagship conference is the first step towards actualizing the India Semiconductor Mission and making its aspirations known globally. The event will help showcase the current capabilities, technology trends, investment in research and development, current and future market opportunities in India and the immense potential and impact it can create globally.

The Steering Committee for SemiconIndia Conference 2022 includes a mix of Startups, Academia, and Global Industry Leaders demonstrating the Government’s collaborative approach to powering India’s semiconductor and electronics manufacturing ambitions. The conference will be a milestone towards the formal launch pad of India’s semiconductor strategy and policy which envisions making India a global hub for Electronics System Design and Manufacturing. With the theme of Catalyzing India’s Semiconductor Ecosystemthe SemiconIndia Conference 2022 envisions positioning India on the Semiconductor map of the world and building a roadmap for establishing a vibrant semiconductor design and manufacturing ecosystem.

The peerless global semiconductor conclave will showcase innovation by startups, key projects undertaken by the academic institutions, ongoing microprocessor programs undertaken by the government and intellectual might of research and development in the sector, both by enterprise and the government.

Uttarakhand / Dehradun: A heart wrenching incident has come to light from Vikasnagar in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. Where a young man killed his own mother and fled from the spot. Actually this incident is of 3rd August. Where Herbertpur police got information about a fire in a house in Rambagh area. When the police reached the spot, they found the burnt body of an old woman inside. The owner of the house, Sanjay Singh Rana, identified the body as his wife Suresho Devi alias Vandana Rana. Earlier it seemed that the woman died due to burning in the fire but the investigation revealed the case of murder. In such a situation, today the police has arrested him. Murdered mother when he did not get money for drugs The next day of the incident, the husband of the deceased, Sanjay Singh, while giving a complaint to the police, told that his son Manmohan Singh used to live with his mother. He was addicted to drugs and often used to demand money from his mother. There used to be a lot of quarrel between the two when the mother refused. The father told that Manmohan was missing from home since the incident. After which, he expressed doubt that maybe his son had committed the murder and set the room on fire. The police already suspected the son The police immediately registered a case against the son and started investigation. After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
