Sad to see violence against Muslims in India: Padma Lakshmi

Indian-American supermodel and author Padma Lakshmi has said that there is no threat to Hindutva in India or anywhere else. He said people of all religions should live peacefully on ‘this ancient, vast land’.
In a series of tweets on April 27, 51-year-old Padma Lakshmi said there was “widespread anti-Muslim rhetoric” going on in the country and hoped that Hindus would not fall into the trap of “creating this fear” and “propaganda”.
Fellow Hindus, don't succumb to this fear-mongering. There is no threat to Hinduism in India or anywhere else. True spirituality doesn't include any room for sowing hatred of any kind.
People of all faiths should be able to live peacefully together in this ancient, vast land.

Sharing news articles from international publications like ‘The Guardian’ and ‘Los Angeles Times’ on violence between two communities in Delhi’s Jahangirpuri during a procession on Hanuman Jayanti and violence in Khargone city of Madhya Pradesh during Ram Navami procession Hua Lakshmi said that there is no place for hatred in ‘true spirituality’.
“Sad to see violence against Muslims in India. Widespread rhetoric against Muslims creates fear and poisons people. This propaganda is dangerous and devious, because when you underestimate someone, it becomes easier to get involved in their suppression.
