Uttarakhand / Roorkee: Miscreants fired at the councilor’s husband’s office
Masked miscreants opened fire at the BJP councilor’s husband’s office in broad daylight. The bullet went out after touching the side of the friend of the councilor’s husband sitting in the office. The miscreants fled after the incident. The incident of firing in broad daylight created panic on the railway road. After the incident, the police conducted a search in the city, but the miscreants could not be traced. The miscreants were caught on CCTV while fleeing during the crime. The reason for the incident is yet to be ascertained.
Swati Tomar, wife of Kuldeep Tomar, a resident of Ganeshpur resident of Ganganahar Kotwali area, is a BJP councilor from Ganeshpur. Councilor husband Kuldeep Tomar has an office near the Sugarcane Committee office on Railway Road. In the afternoon he had gone home to have dinner. His employee Deepak was present at the office. In the evening, Ganeshpur resident friend Vinay Sharma of the councilor’s husband came to the office to meet him. As the councilor’s husband was not present at the office, he started talking to the employee Deepak. It was told that Vinay Sharma was drying sweat standing under the AC. During this, two masked miscreants on bike stopped outside the office. The miscreants opened fire on the window with a pistol. The bullet fired from the pistol went out touching the hand of Vinay, who was sweating under the AC. The sudden incident caused a stir. Hearing the sound of gunshots, the people around rushed towards the spot. Vinay Sharma and Deepak also ran outside. But, by then the miscreants fled from there on a bike. Neighbors also chased the miscreants. But, the miscreants did not come.
On receiving the information, CO Roorkee Vivek Kumar, Inspector in-charge Aishwarya Pal reached the spot along with the police team. The police did a check in the city to nab the miscreants, but the miscreants did not come. The miscreants were caught in the CCTV camera installed near the spot. The reason for the incident is not yet known. CO Vivek Kumar said that the search is on for the miscreants. Information about the cause of the incident is being collected. On receipt of the complaint, a case will be registered.
Fear of being miscreants of UP
It has come to light that the miscreants who fired at the councilor husband’s office belong to Deoband area of Uttar Pradesh. The police have also come to know the names of the miscreants. However, it is not yet confirmed whether the names that have come up are true or not. Police is raiding Deoband area in search of miscreants on the basis of name and address. However, the reason is not yet known.
The bullet was not fired to scare
The way the miscreants have fired from the glass window. The police is also assuming from him that the miscreants did not fire to scare them. The miscreants did not even know whether anyone was sitting inside or not. If the miscreants had to target someone, they could have come from inside the gate and opened fire. At present, the police is investigating the matter on the point of enmity.
Bullet case found outside the window
When the police reached the spot after the incident, the police found the pistol’s bullet shell outside the window. The police have seized the bullet case. Along with this, some broken glass of the window has also been found on the spot.
