New Corona Variant Corona virus infection cases are increasing very fast across the country amid strong signs of the arrival of the fourth wave of corona. A day earlier, a new variant BA.12 of Omicron has been identified in the neighboring state of Bihar, Jharkhand. While COVID patients infected with XE variants have been found in Gujarat and Mumbai. The fear of corona has increased in the state after getting many variants of corona with new appearance and symptoms by continuously mutating. However, it is a matter of relief that this time Corona, who returned with the fourth wave, is not taking the lives of the people affected by the infection. Earlier in the third wave of Corona, the new sub-variant BA.2 of Omicron was identified. The BA.12 variant found this time has been reported to be 10 times more infectious and dangerous than BA.2.

At present, in the investigation of rapidly increasing COVID cases, it has been found that people are getting infected with the highest number of Omicron BA.2 variants. The ba.12 strain of the Omicron variant has similar characteristics. In this, the infected have body ache, fever, headache, sore throat, abdominal pain and trouble in breathing as well as nervousness and restlessness. The Omicron BA.12 variant may be 10 times more dangerous than BA.2, but more precautions need to be taken to prevent it. Earlier in Delhi also two to three cases of BA.12 have been found.

Health organization warned

The next variant of COVID-19 will be more lethal. In this regard, the World Health Organization, WHO has given this stern warning amid increasing cases of corona virus worldwide. WHO has said that what will be the next variant of the corona virus, even though there is still uncertainty about it. But, the speed with which these mutants are happening, it remains a matter of great concern for us. So far, many sub-variants of the Omicron variant have been revealed. These include BA.2, BA.2.12.1 etc.

The organization has said that the Kovid vaccine is the most effective weapon in saving people’s lives and fighting the corona virus. Its scope needs to be expanded. However, it is a matter of relief that the graph of deaths due to corona has come down rapidly. The organization has said that concrete preparations should be made from now on to prevent the spread of new variants of corona. At present, the pace of investigation of corona virus in the country is very slow. In Jharkhand, the investigation is being done negligibly.

Everyone has been compulsorily asked to follow the Kovid protocol. Whereas prayer meetings in schools have been banned. Cultural programs and socializing events here have also been stopped till further orders.
