Uttarakhand / Dehradun : A woman told herself to be close to the Chief Minister, cheated two lakh 36 thousand rupees in the name of job

A woman, claiming herself to be close to the Chief Minister, cheated a person of two lakh 36 thousand rupees in the name of getting a job as a staff nurse. The Nehru Colony police station has registered a case against the woman.

Imran Khan, a resident of Ajabpur Kalan Nehru Colony, told the police that he had met a woman named Geeta Rautela. Geeta told Imran that she was close to the chief minister.

If a woman or a young woman wants to get a job in a big hospital as a staff nurse, then she can get it done. On this, Imran Khan talked about getting a woman familiar to him to get a job as a staff nurse.

Geeta demanded five lakh rupees for this. However, Geeta took two lakh 36 thousand rupees in different installments. When the woman could not get her job for a long time, the victim asked for her money back.

Geeta abused the victim and threatened to kill her. The victim, who was cheated, got tensed and tried to commit suicide. Right now his treatment is going on from Doon Hospital.

Inspector Pradeep Chauhan of Nehru Colony said that a case has been registered against Geeta Rautela on the complaint of the complainant.

One lakh rupees cheated by pretending to be a police officer

A cyber thug stole one lakh rupees from a person by pretending to be a police officer in Ranipokhari police station. The Clementtown Police Station has registered a case against the unknown. Vishal Kumar, a resident of Canal Road, said that on April 22, he received a call on his mobile.

The person said that his name is Manoj Kumar and he is a police officer in Ranipokhari police station. Somebody has to give his 20 thousand rupees. He is sending through phone pe only. If you have a phone, please help. After that he himself will come to collect the money.

Believing Vishal did the same as the thug went on speaking. The thug sent a link on his phone and asked him to click on it. As soon as he opened the link, one lakh rupees were withdrawn from his account. Clemtown Police Station Deepak Kathait said that a case has been registered against the unknown on the complaint of the victim.
