On Friday, 24 carat gold became costlier by Rs 529 by Rs 52055, 23 carat gold by 527 by Rs 51847, 22 carat gold by 484 by Rs 47682, 18 carat gold by Rs 396 by Rs 39041 and 14 carat gold by Rs 309. It closed at Rs 30452 per 10 grams.
