The people of ITI gang involved in the alleged communal dispute in Sheeshmahal of Kathgodam have been arrested by the police and registered a case. Police investigation revealed that people from both Hindu and Muslim sides involved in the ITI gang pelted stones. An attempt was made to give a communal color to the matter by giving it a big boost.

Some people pelted stones on three youths returning after reciting Hanuman Chalisa at around 7:30 pm in Sheeshmahal area of ​​Kathgodam police station area. In no time, seeing the dispute escalating, the other side also started pelting stones and the situation became serious. By the time the Kathgodam police reached the spot on the information of stone pelting, the stone pelters ran away. After a long uproar in the police station, the police was informed and after that the police arrested 10 people on the basis of CCTV footage on Sunday.

On Monday also the police arrested 11 people. Investigation revealed that the stone pelters were members of the ITI gang. Both Hindus and Muslims were involved in this gang. According to the police, the people of the ITI gang were already having a dispute with some people regarding a case. Some of these people were getting entangled with the youths returning from worship. Due to this enmity, seeing the opportunity, he escalated the matter by pelting stones. On the basis of the CCTV footage, the police arrested all the boys of the gang and registered a report against them. Police say that people from both the communities are involved in the ITI gang and action is being taken by registering a report against all.
