Uttarakhand : The doors of Gangotri Dham opened, the first worship in the name of PM Modi, CM Dhami said – this time Chardham Yatra will be historic

The doors of Gangotri Dham opened on Tuesday with the chants of Har Har Gange, Jai Maa Gange. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was present here during the inauguration. With the opening of the doors, the first worship in the Dham was done in the name of PM Modi. On the occasion of inauguration, CM Dhami said that this time Chardham Yatra will be historic.

After the last two years due to the Corona epidemic, the Chardham Yatra is being operated with full capacity. In the year 2020 and 2021, before the opening of the doors of the Chardhams, the transition in the first and second wave of corona was at its peak. Due to which even after the opening of the doors, there was silence without devotees in Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham. But this time there is a lot of enthusiasm among the devotees about the Chardham Yatra.

The government also expects the Chardham Yatra to be historic this time. But due to the arrival of a large number of pilgrims, there is also a challenge before the government regarding the arrangements. The doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham have been opened for darshan on Akshaya Tritiya. While the doors of Kedarnath will open on 6th May and Badrinath Dham on 8th May.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that this time Chardham Yatra is going to be historic. The journey will be good with the blessings of all the deities. Many social organizations and organizations are also coming forward to serve the devotees in Chardham Yatra. The Yatra is starting at full capacity after two years due to the COVID pandemic. Due to the large number of devotees, there is also a challenge for us. The government and the people of the state together will make the journey successful.
