BSF discovered Pakistani tunnel 150 meters away from the International Border
A Pakistani tunnel has been detected in the area of Chak Fakira, a border outpost of 48 Battalion of the Border Security Force (BSF), in Samba, Jammu and Kashmir. This tunnel is just 150 meters from the international border. This Pakistan Post is also just 900 meters away from Chaman Khurd. This came to light when a special checking operation was conducted by the BSF.

Terrorists from across the border keep trying to infiltrate into India. For this, they also sometimes resort to tunnels. Even before this many times BSF has discovered Pakistani tunnels in different areas of Jammu. A tunnel was also detected near the International Border in the Hiranagar sector of Kathua. A BSF official had told that this tunnel was built from across the border to facilitate the infiltration of terrorists. The length of this tunnel was about 150 meters. Cement sacks were also recovered from this tunnel.
After strictness on the LoC, Pakistan started using the international border to push the terrorists. Earlier in August 2020, a tunnel was found on the border of Bain Glad, the border village of Samba. Pakistan-made sacks were found in this tunnel found 50 meters away from the border, which were filled with sand.
