Delhi: Private schools of Delhi will not be able to force you to buy books and uniform from their own shop, order issued

The government of Delhi has taken an important decision. Under this, now private schools of Delhi will not be able to force them to buy books or uniforms from their shops. A government order has been issued in this regard. It has been said in the order that if any school is found doing so, then action will be taken against it. Delhi Deputy CM and Education Minister Manish Sisodia gave this information by tweeting.

Delhi government school children will now learn French, students up to 6-12th will get this foreign language learning option
Manish Sisodia tweeted on Thursday, “Private schools in Delhi will no longer be able to force parents to buy books and uniforms from their own shops.” Sisodia’s tweet has come at a time when the classes for the new session have started. He further said in his tweet that “Every school will have to release a list of at least 5 shops in the vicinity from where books and clothes can be bought. Action will be taken against schools that disobey this order.”
It is worth noting that many times it is seen that private schools force parents to buy uniforms and books from a particular shop only. There is a game of profit going on between the school and the shop and the parents have to bear the brunt of it. In such a situation, this decision of the Delhi government is news of relief for the parents.
