Madhya Pradesh / Ujjain : A person lodged an FIR for theft of slippers – said – hurry up, arrest the thief, if I leave the slippers after a scandal, then I will be trapped in vain

A unique case has emerged from Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh. Often you must have seen that people come to the police stations to report the theft, assault or any other crime, but when someone reaches the police station to report the theft of slippers, he laughs. Yes! One such case has come to light from Khachrod police station of Ujjain district. Jitendra Bagri, a resident of Tarod village of Khachrod, has given a complaint application to the Chapakheri police post in-charge. In the application, Jitendra wrote that someone has stolen my slippers from my house. It is written in the complaint, ‘I can be implicated by putting my slippers stolen by an unknown person by any chance. Therefore, I will not be responsible for improper use of my slippers stolen by the said unknown thief. In the application, the name of the company of a pair of black colored slippers stolen and the price of Rs 180/- has been given. After receiving the complaint application, the outpost in-charge has instructed the head constable named Ashok Katara to investigate it and take legal action.

Police is investigating the matter

This will probably be the first such case of slippers theft that has reached the police. Usually a person buys another slipper if it is lost or stolen. But a villager of Khachrod in Ujjain district has given a complaint application regarding the theft of his slippers at the police post Chapakheda. The police have said about the matter that the head constable has been entrusted with its investigation, appropriate action will be taken.
