Uttarakhand : On the first day of Kedarnath Yatra, the claims of the administration are open, there is no toilet in Gaurikund

There is Kedarnadh Dham. On the very first day, about 20 thousand devotees reached the Dham for the darshan of Baba Kedar, but even after the commencement of the Kedarnath Dham Yatra, the main stop of the Kedarnath pilgrimage route, Gaurikund has started collecting dirt. Till now proper arrangement of toilets has not been done in Gaurikund. In such a situation, devotees have to face a lot of problems. Apart from this, the dirt is spread on the footpath due to the dung of horses and mules. Pilgrims as well as local people are troubled by this mess. At the same time, due to the narrowing of the road from Sonprayag to Gaurikund, commuters have to face two-four due to the problem of jam. Apart from this, there is also a shortage of drinking water in Gaurikund during the travel season. Even after the commencement of the Kedarnath Yatra, devotees in Gaurikund are being deprived of even basic facilities, due to which the traders have also remained angry against the administration.
