Corona’s fourth wave gave a knock? More than 3800 positive cases reported today

More than 3,800 cases of corona were reported in the country on the last day and 3,168 people recovered. So far the number of people who have defeated Corona has gone up to 4,25,54,416. At present the recovery rate is 98.74%. The active cases of COVID across the country are 20,303 and the rate of active cases is 0.05%.

Daily positivity rate is 0.78% and weekly positivity rate is 0.79%. If we talk about the ongoing vaccination campaign against Corona, then more than 190 crore doses have been applied so far. At the same time, 84.03 crore tests have been done, in which 4,87,544 tests were conducted on the previous day.

205 new cases of COVID found in Maharashtra

On Friday, 205 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in Maharashtra, although no patient died during this period. According to the Health Department data, the total cases of COVID-19 in the state increased to 78,78,801 while the death toll remained stable at 1,47,845. At present, 1,109 patients are undergoing treatment in the state. The recovery rate of COVID patients in the state is 98.11 percent. Since Thursday evening, 28,279 COVID related tests have been conducted, taking the number of corona virus tests conducted in the state to 8,03,25,414.

1,607 new cases of corona were reported in Delhi

At the same time, 1,607 new cases have been reported in the national capital Delhi in the last twenty four hours with the death of two more people infected with the corona virus. During this period, the infection rate in Delhi stood at 5.28 percent. According to the health bulletin, the total number of cases of COVID-19 in the national capital has increased to 18,81,555 after the new cases reported on the previous day, while the death toll has increased to 26,174. On Thursday, 1,490 cases of corona virus infection were reported here with an infection rate of 4.62 percent, during which two more patients died.
