Jharkhand: Massive fire broke out after blast at Tata Steel Plant in Jamshedpur, CM Hemant Soren said this by tweeting

A massive fire broke out on Saturday at the Tata Steel Plant in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand with a loud explosion. After the fire, there was chaos in the plant. A gas leak was also reported along with the blast. But the company’s corporate communication issued a press release denied the news of the gas leak.
According to a press release, at around 10:20 am, an explosion occurred in the foul gas line at Battery 6 of the coke plant at Jamshedpur Works, injuring two people. Among the injured, Narasimha Murmu, who was working as a contract laborer in TN Construction, suffered more injuries. A piece of iron fell on his leg. The injured are being treated at Tata Main Hospital. Along with this, the other employee is complaining of chest pain. He has been sent to TMH.
It has been told from Tata that the injured were sent to the hospital. The fire was brought under control with the help of an ambulance. Along with Tata Steel, investigations are also being done by the government. Chief Minister Hemant Soren has asked for the treatment of the injured and to ascertain the cause of the accident.
Hariprasad, associated with the company’s engineering services, said that suddenly there was a loud sound and after the sound there was pain in the chest. Sahitya Kumar, an employee of M/s SGB Company, was also working there at the time of the incident. He also confirmed with a loud voice.
Shortly after the blast, a fire broke out in the same area. The company’s safety team immediately reached the spot and with the help of fire brigade, the fire was brought under control after a lot of effort.
After the incident, Chief Minister Hemant Soren tweeted and directed for the treatment of the injured. The Chief Minister wrote in his tweet that the district administration and Tata Tata Management should jointly arrange for the treatment of the injured and what caused the accident should be investigated.
